• Your experience begins in the calm ambiance of our waiting room. Here, an English-speaking instructor will introduce you to the etiquette and practices of a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Garden Walk and Room Entry

• Stroll through a quaint garden, a prelude to entering the Japanese-style room. This setting, used when weather permits, adds a natural elegance to your experience.

Cultural and Historical Insights

• Seated on the tatami floor, you'll delve into the history of Japanese tea and the significance of the tea ceremony. The instructor will also explain the meaning behind the alcove's hanging scroll, enhancing your cultural understanding.

Matcha Demonstration and Sweets

Hands-On Matcha Preparation
