What happens if the road up Mt. Fuji is closed?

The bus climbs the Fuji Subaru Line as far as conditions allow, to the 5th or 4th Station. If bad conditions close the road completely, you visit Oshino Hakkai village or the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center instead.

What kind of lunch is served?

A Japanese-style set lunch, served at Regina Kawaguchiko Hotel. The menu uses no beef or pork, and the operator may move lunch to a different restaurant without notice.

How much free time do I get at each stop?

Roughly 40 minutes on Mt. Fuji (or at the alternative stop), 50 minutes for lunch, 20 minutes at Oishi Park, and about 70 minutes at Arakurayama Sengen Shrine.

What is special about Arakurayama Sengen Shrine?

The shrine's hillside park holds a five-story pagoda, and on a clear day Mt. Fuji appears right behind it.

Visiting Mount Fuji

It was very good, it's just tiring to climb up to the pagoda.
