Can I join straight from a cruise ship?

Yes. Pickup options are available at the Tempozan Osaka Cruise Terminal and the Kobe Port Terminal; choose the matching option when you book. Travelers staying in Osaka hotels should meet at the Namba store instead.

Do we go inside Osaka Castle's main tower?

The tour covers the castle grounds and park. Entering the main tower museum is optional and paid separately, and your guide helps with tickets if you choose to go in.

How much walking should I expect?

You are on your feet for most of the four hours, spread across five districts with subway rides between them. Comfortable shoes matter more than fitness, and the pace stays relaxed.

Is this a good first-day tour of Osaka?

Yes. It covers the city's golden route in one sweep, helps you get oriented, and your guide sends you off with personalized recommendations for the rest of your stay.
