Mostly deer/Nara Park, but a nice afternoon anyway
A lovely afternoon out, though quite heavy on the Nara Park experience and lighter on the temples/knife aspect. We were a large-ish group in a crowd and it was sometimes hard to get a real history background on the locality (the deer were also a distraction) and the knife store visit was just that -- not a special event per se.

Christophe the Great!
One of the things we really appreciated about Christophe was his kindness We were running late and he patiently waited for us to join the group. He explained in great detail why things were the way that they were with historical accuracy. He provided snacks for us as well as the deer. We highly recommend Christophe as a guide
