Terrific walking and eating tour of charming Yanaka with an excellent guide
We had a great time walking the streets and alleys of quiet and super-pretty Yanaka with Giulia. From our first bite at an adorable little brewpub (we'll be back to try their beers) to our last manju bites with chestnut and cream filling, we learned about the neighborhood and its history, Japanese language and society, and, of course, food culture in Japan. The stops are well chosen and the stroll a great introduction to a historic Tokyo neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Just about perfect!
We had this tour with Giulia who did a great job of walking us around the area, explaining to us and of course answering our questions . The area was a welcome relief after being in modern Tokyo and the food was delicious - a lovely balance of flavours. The time just flew. Totally enjoyed it - if only all tours went so well!
