Not at all. The SAMURAI Experience Mugai Ryu Iaido is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience or familiarity with martial arts. Our approach is designed to be accessible and engaging for beginners, while still offering depth and authenticity that seasoned practitioners will appreciate.
Comfort and mobility are key, so we recommend wearing clothes that allow you to move freely. For women, we suggest wearing leggings under the hakama, which is a traditional wide-legged trouser used in many Japanese martial arts. This combination ensures that you can fully engage in the experience while maintaining comfort and respecting tradition.
Understanding that plans can sometimes change, we have a tiered cancellation policy: If a cancellation is made 2 days or less before the event, we charge a 100% cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made 5 days or less before the event, a 50% fee is applied, and if the cancellation occurs 15 days or less before the event, a 20% fee is charged.
