Your adventure begins with slipping into the traditional samurai attire, the hakama. This essential step is more than a simple change of clothes, as it signifies your transition from the modern world into the realm of the samurai.

2. Understanding Iaido

Once dressed the part, you'll listen to a comprehensive explanation of what Iaido truly is. Master Takeda, aided by a seasoned instructor, will introduce you to the philosophical underpinnings and historical significance of this martial art.

Next, we'll provide an overview of the experience you're about to undertake. Here, you'll learn how to handle the imitation katana safely, understand the correct ways to draw and sheath the sword, and the basic patterns to follow.
