2023年12月4日 晴天 室生寺坐落在奈良县东北部的室生村。在室生川北部陡峭的山腰上建成的室生寺，据传说是公元8世纪末僧人贤憬祈求当时的皇太子患的疾病早日治愈的场所，贤憬的徒弟修圆完成了现在的寺院结构。属于同一宗派的和歌山境内的高野山金刚峰寺是公元9世纪初僧人空海创立，寺院禁止女性进入。但是，室生寺允许女性进入参拜，因此深得女性信仰，并被人们称作“女人高野”。
