Tokensan Park
Tokensan Park is situated on a hillside behind Obama Onsen in Unzen city, Nagasaki Prefecture. The park takes its name from Token Mountain, which rises above the famous hot spring resort town. At the summit sits Ikume Hachiman Shrine, a historic Shinto shrine that serves as the park's spiritual centerpiece.
The shrine holds particular cultural significance as it is believed to have miraculous powers for curing eye diseases. Visitors approach the sacred site through mystical trees lined with white torii gates, creating an atmospheric pathway that culminates in breathtaking panoramic views. The park's elevated position provides an exceptional vantage point for observing both the traditional hot spring town below and the natural beauty of Tachibana Bay stretching into the distance.

Visitors can easily combine a trip to Tokensan Park with exploring the hot spring town. From Nagasaki Station, take the Limited Express Kamome to Isahaya Station, then take the Shimatetsu Bus to Obama, with the journey taking approximately 1 hour.
