Bringing history to life
I had a wonderful experience on the Kamakura tour today. It was both interesting and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide, Midori, explained everything in a very engaging and easy-to-follow way. She used illustrations, which made the stories even more vivid and helped bring the history to life. The information was well-structured, clear, and never overwhelming — just the perfect balance of depth and storytelling.

Fantastic Walking Tour!
Midori was a fantastic tour guide for our day trip to Kamakura with two teenage boys. We took a quick train from Tokyo and really enjoyed our time learning about Kamakura and exploring with Midori. She made it easy to just show up and enjoy the sights and taste delicious food after the tour. The tour was the perfect amount of time. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Walking Tour!

Hasedera Temple houses one of the largest wooden sculptures in Japan — an eleven-faced Kannon statue representing the Goddess of Mercy. The temple grounds include tiered gardens and views across the Kamakura coastline. Admission is payable separately on the day.
