We really enjoyed the tour! It was the perfect mix we were looking for, history to place you a little in the city and its evolution and curious data touching many topics that interested us (social, religious, labor...). Deborah has been able to handle the timings very well, we loved it, we will recommend it!

Knowledgeable guide, great tour!
Jay was a knowledgeable guide and great storyteller. He lived in the US for some years so his English is excellent. His knowledge of history, Japanese culture, Japanese religion, and all things Kyoto was impressive -- there were no questions he couldn't answer at whatever depth we were willing to take him. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Kyoto.
