Manga Museum. I want to live there forever.
The south exit of Kokura Station is a neighborhood with a Showa-era feel, complete with strip theaters and other attractions.
On the opposite side, at the north exit, is this manga museum.
Permanent exhibition: 480 yen
Special exhibition and permanent exhibition: 1800 yen
Re-entry is permitted until closing time at 7 PM, and there's a huge selection of manga to read. There are plenty of reading spaces, so manga lovers can spend forever. The restrooms are also clean. There are also restaurants in the same building.
The special exhibition at this time was by Leiji Matsumoto, creator of masterpieces such as Galaxy Express 999 and Space Battleship Yamato.
The detailed depictions of machines, mecha, and the internal components of cars and motorcycles are so exquisite that even mecha lovers will be captivated.
The original artwork is truly beautiful, and the way the women are portrayed is particularly delicate and captivating, with their smooth curves.
I had no prior knowledge of the subject, but it was fun! ♡
