신쿄 다리는 닛코의 역사와 건축을 담은 매혹적인 유산입니다. 다야강을 가로질러 28미터 길이로 뻗어 있는 이 다리는 8세기에 처음 건설되었지만, 오늘날 우리가 보는 구조는 1636년에 만들어진 것입니다. 다리의 선명한 붉은색은 단순한 장식이 아니라 악을 막는 상징으로, 이미 인상적인 존재감에 의미를 더합니다.

전설에 따르면 닛코를 창건한 승려 쇼도 쇼닌은 바로 이 지점에서 강을 건널 때 두 마리의 뱀의 도움을 받았다고 하며, 이로 인해 다리는 신성한 장소로 여겨지게 되었습니다. 역사적으로 신쿄 다리는 쇼군과 황실 사신만 사용할 수 있었기 때문에 권력과 영적 연결의 상징이었습니다.

다리 건너려면 별도로 돈 내고 들어가는데 밖에서 찍는 것도 이뻐요~ 그렇게 볼게 많지는 않아서 절 가는 길에 잠깐 사진찍고 지나가면 딱이예요!

동조궁 가는 버스 한정거장 일찍 내려서 신교 사진 한방 찍고 간다. 하늘이 덜 이뻐서 아쉽다.
다리 건너는것도 유료라니.. 그냥 보는것만으로도 충분한듯

닛코여행의 시작이자, 이른 아침과 오전의 경치와 느낌이 다른 다리... 매우 아름다움...
다리 입장료 있다고 해서 가볼까 고민했는데 다른 리뷰 말처럼 겉에서만 봐도 엄청 이뻤어요. 오히려 다리가 나와서 더 이뻤던듯해요
