What other travelers are saying about Awaji Farm Park England Hill
Lovely place!
We only spent around 2 hours but you should definitely dedicate a whole day and see everything!
Even though it was a weekend, it was not crowded at all! We were able to ride the horse with no waiting time! Although it's a very short lap. It's very family and child friendly.
The park operates from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, and extends to 5:30 PM on weekends and holidays between March and September. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. The park is closed on Tuesdays during certain periods, though it remains open on public holidays and during Golden Week, as well as during the New Year holiday period.
Adult admission (high school students and above) costs 1,200 yen, while children aged 4 years and above pay 400 yen. Children under 3 years old can enter for free. Discounts are available for people with disabilities and their attendants upon presentation of proper documentation. Web tickets can be purchased in advance through the official website, Asovue, or jalan Net, allowing visitors to skip the ticket counter line.
Outside food is generally not allowed, though homemade picnic lunches are permitted. The park features several restaurants and cafes where visitors can enjoy Awaji Island specialties, including fresh beef and seafood dishes. Restaurants have varying operating hours, and the souvenir shop remains open throughout the park's operating hours.
Pets are not allowed to enter or be kept at Awaji Farm Park England Hill due to the many animals residing in the park. This policy helps ensure the safety and comfort of both the park's animal residents and visiting guests.
The park provides wheelchair-accessible restrooms and offers free wheelchair rental. A free shuttle bus connects the Green Hill Area near the entrance and the England Area, which are separated by a considerable distance. However, visitors should be aware that the park covers a vast area and some terrain may present challenges for those with mobility concerns.
Although there are not many animals, I’m happy to see that all the animals are well taken care of! All the animals have clean and large enclosures (especially the rabbits and guinea pigs). I’m sure the staff there are passionate about taking care of the animals, and that makes me really happy. The flowers are also very beautiful, especially the sea of sunflowers. I had a good time!
A lovely place for a whole day visit with kids 💕 It's vast and mostly open - too hot for summer and ideal from Autumn to Spring. Under roof: workshops, Koala, rabbits and guinea pigs, green house with 🦎🐢🌴, shuttle train, food. Good for walking, running, playing outside 🏃♀️. Perfect place for special occasions. A bit of everything everywhere: animals 🐎 🐑 🐹 🐇 🐨 🦘 🐢 🦎 and flowers here and there, beautiful views and scenery, workshops: making bread, candles, woolen toys; harvesting 🍓🍅🍆🥔, Swan boats 🦢 (roof protects from sun/ rain), go-karts 🚘 for 2 people (140cm and above can drive themselves, below 140 are passengers only), other amusement activities for little ones and adults; food, drink vending machins, toilets everywhere. Connecting cute shuttle train. The prices are reasonable as it goes to taking care of animals and a vast territory, you can just pick up and pay for what you are interested the most 👍.
Very wide area, and relaxing atmosphere. I had fun meeting with many cute friends, even the funny ones that lay in the bathtub for hours (Kappibara) it's a place to go and enjoy once in a while away from the big cities.
