Simply amazing and well worth the ¥3,000 ticket. A great place to practice your photography skills. We were lucky enough to snag walk-in tickets on the same day for 10:30am. There is a complimentary shuttle bus from the nearby train station (JT line). You can call ahead to make your reservation, the receptionist spoke a little English.
Great views and location. Very peaceful experience, and somewhat spiritual. Would love to meet whoever created the space. Lots of walking, but good exercise. Would be nice if they don’t use sugar for their drinks, but apart from that, their Mikan Juice is fire. 🔥
What a delightful way to spend an afternoon, a sunny not too hot day would definitely help. I read about this place, but wasn’t too sure what to expect. But what you get is a meandering path of delight. Definitely worth the journey to get there. Even the wait at the train station for the shuttle was a joy.
The cafe has great coffee and nibbles, but if you are after something substantial, stop in Odowara and grab a snack that you can enjoy in the amphitheater.
You need to reserve. There were a couple of groups turned away at the shuttle. And your name is checked off a list!
A true gem. Worth a visit to get away from the routine Japan overload. But go only if you trip is long enough to have covered other major attractions as this takes away half of your day. It's more a peaceful orange orchard located in an amazing location. Wish there was some good to enjoy while taking it all in. They do have lemonade kind of drinks, coffee and tea and honey made granola.
I highly recommend visiting this spot. I visited during sakura season, and it is a very well-thought-out and designed place to take pictures and enjoy the environment.
