What other travelers are saying about Forest Adventure Beppu
It was one of the most beautiful experiences, and I repeated it twice because of its beauty. Thanks to the kind staff 🌸🤍 and for suggesting to visitors rented shoes to maintain the cleanliness of our original shoes.
Did the Canopy course with our 5 and 7yr old. It was challenging but so much fun! The kids had a blast and the zip slide was the best ending to each course! Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The basic requirements vary by course level. The easier family courses typically require participants to be at least four years old and 110 centimeters tall, while more challenging adventure courses may require participants to be 140 centimeters or taller or at least 10 years old. Some advanced courses have upper weight limits, usually around 130 kilograms. Children under certain ages must be accompanied by an adult participant on the course.
Most visitors spend between two to three hours at the facility, including the safety briefing, equipment fitting, and course completion. Easier courses may take one to two hours, while more challenging routes can take up to three hours depending on your group's pace and confidence level. It's advisable to allocate at least half a day for your visit to avoid rushing through the experience.
Yes, advance reservations are strongly recommended and often required. The facility limits the number of participants per time slot for safety reasons, and popular times such as weekends, holidays, and peak tourist seasons frequently sell out. Reservations can typically be made online through the official Forest Adventure website or by phone. Walk-ins may be accepted if space is available, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows freedom of movement and closed-toe shoes with good grip, such as sneakers or hiking boots. Sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are not permitted. Gloves are recommended to protect your hands on rope elements and zip lines. Bring water to stay hydrated, and consider bringing a small bag or backpack that can be securely fastened. Loose items like phones and cameras should be stored safely or secured with straps, as dropping objects from height poses safety risks.
