If you are in Hirosaki visiting this garden close to the castle is worth doing. Pretty feature bridge. Meiji building at the entrance is quite different.
As much as we enjoyed Hiroshima Park, Fujita memorial garden topped our expectation. It's part of the entrance fee package we purchased which also includes the castle and botanical garden. There's a lot to explore and it exudes the sense of zen.
Absolutely stunning place to visit. The views were amazing. It was so peaceful to be able to walk around and see the scenery and culture. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
