The museum is situated in Ohori Park. I got to walk in the park, which consists of a big lake and many trees. It was a nice walk to be quiet and away from the crowds. The trees gave me a surreal feeling and peace. It invited me to look forward to the art museum. There were exhibits going on and free admission for some in the museum. There was also a display of paintings from a competition. Very impressive art works. I bought a few post cards with my favourite paintings. Worth a visit!

Their collection of modern and contemporary art was very interesting. I greatly enjoyed my afternoon here. It's not crowded, although I went here on a Wednesday. They had an exhibit of Koiso Ryohei's works and so there were a lot of local goers, which was really nice.
Very impressive collection of art in such a great location, surrounded by the greenery of the park. Good for all ages and there’s something for everyone here. We went during the week when it was rainy so not sure if it was extra quiet that day, but it was the most peaceful museum I’ve been to.
Enjoyed my first experience here. The urban artists section were especially amazing. Each shows their unique art work and style perfectly. It was a feast for my eyes
