A must-visit haven for any Detective Conan fan! This was one of the highlights we had been looking forward to the most during our trip, as we are huge fans of Conan.
The excitement started even before reaching the museum. From Conan Station all the way to the museum, there were so many Conan-related statues and displays to see. The moment we stepped outside, I honestly felt like I was in paradise! It was also so nice to see other Detective Conan fans of all ages enjoying the area. You’re never too old or too young to fangirl over your favourite anime!
We spent a good 15 minutes outside the museum just admiring and taking photos with the statues, including Professor Agasa and his famous Beetle car, the Detective Boys, and Kaito Kid. Once inside, we were given a quiz to complete, and after finishing it, we received a completion card as a souvenir, which was such a nice touch!
The museum itself isn’t particularly big, but as fans, we really enjoyed taking our time and soaking in all the little details. There was so much to see and learn about the world of Detective Conan, including fascinating information about Gosho Aoyama, his hometown, and how Conan came to be. It did get busy at times, but thankfully it never felt so crowded that it became overwhelming, so we could still enjoy the exhibits at our own pace.
The museum was also very interactive, which made the experience even more fun. We got to play the skateboard game, try solving cases, take holographic photos, and watch a short video. We were also lucky enough to visit during the 30th anniversary celebrations, which made the experience even more special!
I truly enjoyed every moment of our visit. If you’re a Detective Conan fan, I would definitely recommend adding this to your Japan itinerary. It was absolutely worth the trip to Tottori, and I would happily come back again!
Adult Ticket Price was 700yen and for Children 350yen, but when I came, there's a Marathon Event that day, so the ticket was half price. I got half price and because that day was my daughter's birthday so She could enter the place free and got a free small birthday badge. I just paid 350yen to entered.
My daughter watched every little things inside the museum, I just like to took pictures there as much as I could.
The one that I love was the first episode of Detective Conan from all around the world including from Indonesia (my country). Some things inside were tricks from the manga, you could try the trick too.There were a Souvenir Shop too, you can find Detective Conan's souvenir and local snacks here.
Next time I hope I can visit this place with my husband and daughter again.
The whole town experience was pretty amazing. From the train station to the streets to the statues, peaceful and amazing town all together, the whole town is an attraction not just the museum. Would highly recommend it if you're a conan fan, or even if you just want to experience the "less" touristy vibe of japan.

You will see how Aoyama Gosho originally born and raised in Tottori prefecture and starting his career became mangka untill today.
