Hirosaki Park (Castle)

Hirosaki Park is a beautiful and historic place in Hirosaki City. It is best known for Hirosaki Castle, which was built in 1611 by the Tsugaru family. This castle is one of the few in Japan that still has its original structure. 

It has a three-story tower that people can visit to enjoy views of the park and learn about history. One of the most special things about the park is its cherry blossoms. Every spring, over 2,500 cherry trees bloom, making the whole park look beautiful with pink flowers.

The Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival takes place from late April to early May and is considered one of the best in Japan. The park is also beautiful in autumn when the leaves change colors and in winter when the castle is covered in snow. 

The castle was once taller, but it was damaged by lightning and later rebuilt. The park also has stone walls, old gates, and a moat that once protected the castle. Many people visit Hirosaki Park to enjoy the scenery and experience a piece of Japanese history.
