Located just north of Jindaiji Temple, Jindai Botanical Garden is an easy and natural addition to a visit to the temple area. Its convenient location makes it simple to combine both spots in one relaxed outing.
The garden is decently sized and thoughtfully laid out, featuring many themed sections that showcase different types of plants and landscapes throughout the year. Even though we visited in winter, when most of the gardens were dormant, it was still pleasant to stroll through the peaceful grounds and get a sense of how beautiful the park must be in other seasons.
Seasonal highlights like cherry blossoms, roses, and other floral displays are likely what make this garden especially popular at other times of the year.
One part we could still fully enjoy was the greenhouse, which offers a warm and colorful contrast to the winter scenery outside. It’s a great place to explore year-round and adds value to the visit even in colder months.
went there during the rose garden event at May. There were more than 200 different tours of roses to look at, it was very beautiful and pretty.
They also had bubbles floating around, everything was very relaxing and full of nature!!
I went around 9:45am on May 10. Stayed for two hours and saw the bubbles start at 11:30. The rose garden was the highlight and there were an insanely large collection. I also enjoyed some plants found in the greenhouse.
Comment on photographing the bubbles: Be downwind (which changes frequently). Find a tall rose plant as foreground and zoom to 2x or more. Hopefully the blurred background is interesting.
Bubble machines were on all four corners of the square. It ran for quite while so you could take your time.
Commute via bus is convenient. Cards and cash payments accepted. They provide umbrellas during rainy days. Their pamphlets also come in various languages.
Visited on Oct 25, roses were in bloom, so many varieties, and you’d literally be able to smell the flowers. Fragrant, colorful, and diverse.
Worth visiting also is the greenhouse. Various tropical plants, fruit bearing plants, and etc.
Staff are attentive and overall the place is well maintained. Beautiful seedlings can be purchased.
It is autum but there are still many beautiful roses. Inside the glasshouse there are various of plants and floder. A very calm and nice place.
