What other travelers are saying about Kasai Rinkai Park
As an adult, I’ve come to truly appreciate how wonderful Kasai Rinkai Park is.
It’s perfect for families with young children, and it’s also one of the rare parks where you can enjoy clam digging. Such a special place to spend the day😆
We saw fish we had never seen before. They had times posted when they'd feed the animals so it was cool to wait and see. Absolutely loved it and was a highlight of the trip. The gift shop was affordable and bathrooms were clean. Only small tiny con was no drinking fountain so you had to purchase water in the restaurant. Otherwise 10/10
Kasai Rinkai Park is a very beautiful and spacious park with plenty to do for all ages. It is well connected with its own station, making it easy to access, and also has a huge parking area for those driving. The park features designated barbecue spaces, fishing spots, and long running paths that make it ideal for outdoor activities. There is also an observatory and a large Ferris wheel that give great views of the area. With so much to explore, you can easily spend three to four hours here just walking around and enjoying the natural surroundings.
The full view of Kasai Rinkai Park is breathtaking, especially with the iconic Ferris wheel towering in the background. 🎡🌊
This park serves as the ultimate stage for the climax of anime Oregairu. While the glass walls of Crystal View held their tears, the vast open spaces and the giant Ferris wheel symbolize the bittersweet reality of their youth. Standing here, you realize how small their world felt despite the grand scale of the park.
It’s a beautiful, breezy location where the sea meets the sky, but for any fan, it’s impossible to look at that Ferris wheel without feeling a pang of nostalgia for the Service Club’s final struggles. A perfect, scenic spot to reflect on what is truly 'genuine.'
It’s a beautiful park by the Tokyo bay. There are many different functions for different people. I mainly came to watch their designated areas for birds watching.
The directions to the area from the entrance were very clear. There were about 5 to 6 areas but there were not many birds in fact. The last place gathered more professional photographers using their telescope lens but variety of birds were limited.
The park is open year-round. Spring (March to May) features cherry blossoms, while autumn (September to November) offers mild temperatures. Summer weekends draw the largest crowds to the beach area. Winter provides the clearest visibility of Mount Fuji from the Ferris wheel. Bird migration peaks occur in spring and autumn at the sanctuary.
Budget 2 hours for walking the grounds and waterfront. The aquarium requires an additional 1.5 to 2 hours. The Ferris wheel ride takes 17 minutes. Visitors combining multiple attractions typically spend 3 to 5 hours total.
Yes. Open lawn areas are available for picnicking. Designated barbecue zones require advance reservation and a fee. Convenience stores and food vendors operate near the station and within the park. Alcohol is permitted outdoors but not inside attractions.
Yes. The park includes an aquarium with touch pools, playgrounds, a Ferris wheel, and a beach area for water play. Paths are stroller-accessible and family restrooms with changing facilities are available throughout.
Tokyo Disney Resort is two stations away on the JR Keiyo Line. Kasai Seaside Park extends along the coast nearby. Edogawa Ward Natural Zoo is accessible by a 20-minute bus ride and offers free admission. Central Tokyo is within 30 minutes by train.
