We have been twice and the second time was a much better experience. We did a tour bus the first time and I recommend driving if you can because it was much faster. The small paper shop tucked behind the main gift shop was very nice and had beautiful things.
This lake is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views perfect. I highly recommend renting a bicycle or car to explore the quieter, less touristy spots along the shoreline.
24/3/25 Had a trip booked, it was an overcast day, so weren’t expecting much. Due to travelling to different sites we did see Fujisan, he is only seen 90/365 days, they weren’t postcard views but we were grateful to view this magical san.
