What other travelers are saying about Nago Pineapple Park, Nago
It’s a pretty small park that can be covered in less than an hour. Theres abit of everything and there’s a standard route you can follow.
We arrived around 4pm and bought the tickets at the machine for 1500¥ per pax. We then proceeded to board the tram which brought us around the park before reaching the main area. There’s an individual self driving cart that then brings you around a route with dinosaurs and pineapples. After that you get to walk around viewing the same area from an elevated walkway.
That was pretty much it, after that you get to visit their icecream store, shop selling fresh pineapples, souvenir shop and pineapple winery where you get to try pineapple flavored wine which turns out to be pretty good. Theres also a distillery which we skipped.
Nago Pineapple Park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:30 PM). Adult admission is 1,200 yen, children (4-15 years) pay 600 yen, and children under 3 enter free. The park offers discounts for groups and online bookings.
A typical visit to Nago Pineapple Park takes 1.5-2 hours. The experience includes a self-driving pineapple cart tour through tropical gardens, pineapple tasting, shopping for pineapple products, and exploring the dinosaur park area. The automated cart ride lasts about 20 minutes.
From Naha Airport, drive north on Route 58 and Route 84 for about 1.5 hours (70km). From Nago city center, it's a 10-minute drive. Public transportation options include taking bus #20 or #120 from Naha to Nago, then a taxi to the park. Free parking is available on-site.

Yes, Nago Pineapple Park is very family-friendly with activities for all ages including the automated pineapple cart ride, educational exhibits, and a playground area. The park is wheelchair accessible with paved paths, accessible restrooms, and the pineapple carts can accommodate wheelchairs with assistance from staff.
This was my first visit, and I had a great time! I heard about this theme park and finally decided to go. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The park was easy to navigate and was very pleasant along with being family friendly. I enjoyed the different shops with pineapple themed foods and drinks. The Pineapple candy is a must try. Be aware that shopping is mostly cash only. Highly recommended
Very fun experience!!
I wouldn’t plan a whole trip around it but it was a lot of fun to stop by on our trip. It would be a great experience for people with younger kids. The dinosaurs were such a cute addition to the pineapple theme. I loved the little cart ride at the beginning.
Our favorite part was probably the butterfly area. Seeing all the cocoons and butterflies around was amazing!!
The snacks were pretty good and the souvenirs were pretty typical of others around okinawa. The pineapple cakes were very good though!!
I would definitely recommend this as a stop for anyone nearby!!
Had an absolute ball!
Brought my parents here.
Got on the train, multiple photo opportunities. Walked through garden areas
ABSOLUTELY LOVED The butterfly area!
The dinosaurs are cool.
Follow the signs that say “route” and you’ll get to see the whole place don’t get confused by the exit/ route signs.
The very end will be through the area you can actually buy wine and other juices and cookies! It’s a really great little place!
The pineapple park was really amazing. The park integrates the cartoon dinosaurs and real pineapple plants into the educational materials to brief the biological ecosystem. At the last, there are many processed pineapple food and souvenirs for buying. If you don’t buy the tickets of the new-opened Jurassic park, you could bring your kids to here.
