What other travelers are saying about Noichi Zoological Park
Well presented park which focused on offering animals a more nature-based surrounding.
We were able to get around the whole park in two hours, but could have easily spent an hour longer.
I saw many unique animals. They looked pretty happy and active and some even came close or posed for pictures. I loved all the greenery and trees as well. It was raining so some exhibits were closed unfortunately.
Very pretty zoo, enclosures seem pretty fair for what it is and certainly aren’t cruel (except maybe the seal enclosure) very quiet and not busy but I’m sure same can’t be said for the weekend
This zoo is built at sunny side of hill. Its observation route is made rounding loose slope and very good long path on a walk. If you want to take it easy it is best. The animals are small ones and birds, large carnivorous animals are not there, a main display one is whale-headed stork. Their fur is very fine and well taken care of. They take very much relaxed and lying in the sun. There are clean and swept and have good ambience, having communal umrella stops in there in case of sudden rainfall. It has much worth to visit.
The park is open all year round except Mondays and a few designated holidays. To avoid large crowds, planning your visit on weekdays is recommended.
Various seasonal events and animal feeding shows occur throughout the year. Check the park's website for more details
Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the park, but several restaurants and snack stands are available on-site. However, you can bring your water or beverages in a refillable container.
The pathways are designed for easy navigation, and certain areas have designated wheelchair entranceways.
For safety reasons, visitors are not allowed to touch or interact with the animals without supervision from park staff during designated feeding times. The well-being of the animals is a top priority, and visitors are asked to respect their space.
