The waterfall can be seen from the front, but you can't get as close to what you see in the pictures. It only takes a couple minutes of easy walking to get down to the actual waterfall.
When we got there, there was an employee standing there. He was telling people where to stand and how to hold the camera to get the best photo. I brought my dog, so he let us know to keep the dog out of the water.
After that, we walked along the wooden path, which was very nice, and it looped back along to where we parked. The shop that sells ice cream was still open, so we got a soft cream.
Overall, it was pleasant, clean, and relaxing. There just wasn't that much to see after a long drive to get there.
If you are coming to Chiba Boso Area, this waterfall is must without any doubt,
Truly a master piece by nature.
Enough free car parking, no entrance fee,
Paved road, beautifully maintained,
Totally peaceful place.
Nōmizo Falls and Kameiwa Cave form a magical scenic spot located in Shimizu Keiryu Square in Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Famous for its fairy-tale, Studio Ghibli-inspired look, it is best known for a stunning morning light reflection that forms a heart shape.
Beautiful area nice walk to get down to the falls. Lots of photo opportunities.
Once you are down at the falls take the time to enjoy the scenery. Again the walk back up is on a really nice wooden board walk.
Originally designed as a part of an irrigation system, Nozimo Falls/Kameiwa Cave is simply beautiful. Arrive at the right time, you can capture the photograhs you often see on the internet.
All other times, you capture a beautiful blend of nature. The water amazingly becomes still enough to capture the reflection of the tunnel.
Great small walk into the forest. There was a small queue into the parking lot but after that you just need to have short walk to finally see the cave and falls. The view is amazing. I think if you get the right timing of day you can take amazing pictures here. Highly recommendes for photographers. I recommend coming on a sunny day during the morning or around 3pm in the afternoon.
Beautiful area! The cave and waterfall are stunning. Super easy walk from the parking lot.
