One of the best experiences you can get to being a farmer. The seasons from 2023 start at the end of June. It cost ¥1800 per person to eat all you can with no time limit. And if you decide to bring some back, it's ¥300 per 100g. The general field is open in sections so it is not over picked. The field consists of 3 different types of cherry trees. You can enjoy the cherry trees and eat at the same time.

One of the activities I was most looking forward to on this trip was cherry picking. We double-checked the website before heading out on 2 August 2024, since it was quite a distance. However, we were deeply disappointed when the staff informed us that the cherry-picking season was over, which was never mentioned on their website. Many other groups of customers like us arrived and were turned away. Although cherries were available for sale, our excitement was already dampened. The staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly.

Cherry picking has different pricing depending on which sections you want access to, in early August I brought entry to the nanyo cherry area. If you intend on bringing cherries home, make sure you pluck the cherry with the stem intact as they keep better. I had the strategy of tasting a single cherry from a bunch and only harvested the rest if I found the cherry to my liking. Quite fun to "cherry pick" cherries without having to worry about insects.
