On a clear day, this is a fantastic spot to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji framed by beautiful lavender fields. The combination of the iconic mountain and the colorful flowers makes it a perfect location for photography. The park also has a souvenir shop where you can grab coffee, ice cream, and other local treats while taking a break. If you head up to the upper floor, you'll be rewarded with an even better panoramic view of the surroundings.

The view from here is magnificent. The Nemophila fields in late May is very nice? There are also a few colourful flowers there still, even in late spring. Not too many people when we came, can get many unobstructed pics of Fujisan and the flower fields. There is a nice souvenir shop nearby but too many people and quite pricey. There is also an ice cream store. It was delicious. Ample parking space, and plenty toilets.

It’s the perfect place to pick up unique Fuji-themed gifts and local jams. * **Strolling the Boardwalk:** The walk along the lake is peaceful and easy, making it accessible for everyone. ### Travel Tips To get the best experience, try to arrive **early in the morning**. Mount Fuji is often "shy" and can be covered by clouds later in the day. Also, the park is free to enter, which is a wonderful bonus for budget travelers. On a clear day, the view of Mount Fuji across the lake is absolutely incredible and feels almost unreal in person. 🗻 The flower gardens were well maintained and added a lot of colour to the landscape, making it a great spot for photos without feeling overly touristy or crowded in most areas. There were also small cafés and snack spots nearby that made it easy to sit down and enjoy the view for a while. 🌸 Overall, it’s a must-visit stop if you’re in the Kawaguchiko region, especially if you want a peaceful setting to take in one of Japan’s most iconic views. 🇯🇵

Oishi Park offers some of the most iconic views of Mount Fuji across the lake, and it is a must-stop in the Kawaguchiko area. The flower-lined paths are beautifully maintained, and the scenery changes wonderfully depending on the season. While it is a popular spot for tour buses and photographers, it still feels spacious enough to enjoy. We found it to be very family-friendly, especially since there is a dedicated play area with swings and slides. It provided a great balance where the adults could enjoy the views and the flowers while the boys had a space to burn off some energy. There are also nice cafes and ice cream shops on-site for a quick break. Even if it's a tourist trap It is definitely one of the best accessible spots for a classic Fuji photo and a bit of playtime for the kids.
