Easy to find. Use the north exit of the train station then make an immediate right and you should be able to see this area.
Oizumi had been a place where anime artists and studio were located quite a while back. Not sure about now though.
These statues and panels are a nice reminder of characters loved by many.
Foot traffic can be heavy during commute times and weekends/holidays, so if you’re looking to take picture of/with your favorite character(s) pick a time when there isn’t that much traffic.
I would say there’s not much to see, although what you will see are nice in themselves. Then again, I’m not really an anime fan. This attraction is right outside the station exit/entrance gates, and many passersby take photos. Maybe if one had the time, it would be nice to read what’s on the inscriptions.
What you see in the picture is the entirety of the attraction. Anime Gate consists of some plaques and five bronze statues of famous anime characters who helped put the area's animation studios on the world map.

It was cute and full of history. For those that want to say they have been there. But it’s for a quick stop
I guess you have to be a die hard anime fan to go to this metro terminal since all you will see are some very well done bronze statues and a little timeline regarding the history of anime. But that's about it, there is nothing more to see and the only studios I visited are the toei shueisha and they are a little far away walking distance and again the museum is definitely not worth a visit, there is almost nothing to see.
