Tickets for the ferry to Teshima via Inujima are sold and accepted on the first floor of the former police box building. Tickets can be paid for with cash or PayPay. If you have paid online in advance, you will receive your boarding pass here. It seems that you can also make a reservation by phone, so if you definitely want to ride, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
During the art festival, there are direct ferries to Inujima every weekend. Outside of the festival, ferries seem to run occasionally; you can check the official website for announcements.
Considering the possibility of unpredictable weather and temporary ferry cancellations, departing from here is simpler than taking a bus to Hoden Port. There are also staff members on board to provide guided tours, making it a wonderful short journey.
The route is listed as [Kyobashi - Inujima - Karato].
On the way there and back, they kept talking on the microphone like on a minibus, which was tough. 💦
And they're not fluent, so I think it's best not to talk about anything other than safety and emergency matters.
