What other travelers are saying about Okinawa Comprehensive Athletic Park
A nice park where you can walk after having a good meal at the restaurant nearby. I loved the beach in front of it, and that is the only area I have visited here so far. I will definitely visit here again and explore more later. This is a 5-star place to visit for the beach already.
I had a delightful evening stroll, relishing the tranquil ambiance of a pet-friendly park. As I meandered, I discovered a stadium that provided an excellent vantage point to observe the football practice of a spirited group of teenagers.
Hardly ever can park close to the play ground area. People will put their hazards on making it impossible to turn around in the already tiny parking area making it hard to leave. You can park pretty far away from the play ground area fine most times. Since it’s also a camping area it’s a bit difficult to know when is a good time to go. If you have a large vehicle I’d recommend parking far away to avoid getting stuck at the very last parking area.
Great place for walking, jogging, or spending time with the kids.
A well maintained park and athletic field. There's even a seasonal water park and a camping area.
Multiple clean restrooms.
You can walk/jog on a padded track, or venture out into low hills and along the bay.
It's a good place for people who want to do something since there are lot's of things there you can do. You can either walk, play and etc. There's a fish pond and sometimes you can put some food in there so they can eat it. Once you feed one fish ,hundreds of other fish come and gather around for food. If you walk a little there is this huge playground that has a zipline, a rolling slide and a exercising place. You could also go to the place it self which is a big stadium that has a lot of events happening there . Mostly like festivals or cultural stuff. You could also do runs there. It has a thing everyone can do there . Mostly people who want to explore , this is a place that will be most preferred for you. There are also bathrooms there too. There are also faucets if you get your feet or anything dirty. You can also bring your dog too. There are ponds that contain koi fish and you can purchase fish food to feed them, either way you can still see beautiful fish. There are two mini bridges that cross over the river and athletic fields that can use to play sports. There are tennis courts, track field, and a stadium. In the front of the comprehensive park there is an information center as well and a map that shows what's in the park. Recommend coming here to take a stroll or be around the locals.
