Okuutatsuyama Kenmin Park is a public recreation area located in the Wakamatsumachi district of northern Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The park was developed on the site of a former golf course, transforming the landscape into a multifunctional community space that opened to provide outdoor leisure facilities for residents and visitors. The elevated location takes advantage of the natural terrain of the surrounding hills, offering a refreshing escape from the urban center.

The park's natural setting provides panoramic views across Kanazawa city and extends to the Sea of Japan, making it particularly attractive during clear weather. The converted golf course terrain has been reimagined with approximately 3 to 4 kilometers of walking and running trails that wind through the grounds, allowing visitors to explore the park's varied landscape. The area features well-maintained greenery that displays seasonal changes throughout the year, with particularly striking fresh foliage during spring and early summer months.

Visitors to Okuutatsuyama Kenmin Park can engage in various recreational activities suited to different age groups and interests. The park features park golf facilities, a modified version of golf played on shorter courses with specialized equipment. Athletic playground equipment caters to both children and adults, providing opportunities for physical activity and family recreation. A covered barbecue area allows for day camping even during inclement weather, making it a reliable destination regardless of conditions. The park includes a multi-purpose ground for sports and gatherings, along with a single-level wooden community center that houses a cafe where visitors can rest and refresh.

The park is situated in north Kanazawa and can be reached by private vehicle, with parking facilities available on site. Public transportation options include local buses that serve the Wakamatsumachi area, though schedules should be confirmed in advance. The park operates with free admission to its grounds and main facilities, making it an accessible destination for budget-conscious travelers. Due to its location on the city's outskirts, the park offers a quieter alternative to Kanazawa's more famous tourist attractions while remaining within reasonable distance of the city center.
