This park is great. Only a few walking minutes from the city and great view of Mount Fuji. Entry is free and it is very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

A beautiful park with one of the best views in the area. However: due to renovations, almost all the routes out of the park were blocked! Severe access problem.

Well, quite stunning really. Lake Ashi is a pearl and the torri gates and temples on the other shore beautiful, the cable car ride up was fun. The disappointment was Mt Fuji was being shy hiding behind cloud.

I would say there are better places to view Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji. We went at a time where the cherry blossoms already past their peak, but overall a standard park.
