What other travelers are saying about Narukawa Art Museum
Don't even think about missing this place. Get a coffee herex sit back and take in the view. A trip to Hakone is worth just to see the view from here. We got lucky to get amazing view of Mt. Fuji and lot of fast moving clouds. We got so mesmerized that we stayed there for couple of hours
Inspiring and amazing Japanese paintings. I learned so much from just visiting this museum. Came without research and found out this museum also has the best view in hakone, seeing Mount Fuji.
Best view in Hakone with Fujisan, Peace Torii and the cruise ship!
The nihonga art is amazing as well.
A must-visit especially if you have the Hakone Pass.
I believe most tourists visit this place for the stunning window view of Mt. Fuji, and it truly lives up to the hype. The view is absolutely breathtaking and an ideal spot for capturing beautiful photos.
The paintings on display are also impressive. I was delighted to find a collection of ink wash paintings, which I personally love. The local artists are incredibly talented, and their work adds a wonderful cultural touch to the experience.
Tiny, but pretty nice art museum. Beside paintins and scul[ture it has a collection of caleidoscopes, which very attractive for childrens.
Whole family can enjoy beautiful cafe-terrace with view to Ashi lwake. And if you are lucky enough - you can see Fuji-san :)
Lower terrace park is very compact but nice and decorated with sculptures.
