Final stop at Rinko Park in Yokohama. This wide-open green space by the bay is instantly recognizable to Fate/stay night [UBW] fans as the location where Rin, Shirou, and Saber shared their peaceful picnic. Standing on the same grass, looking out over the Yokohama harbor, it’s easy to forget about the Holy Grail War for a moment, just like they did. The contrast between the vast, modern skyline and the quiet simplicity of that scene is what makes this spot so special. It was a rare glimpse into the characters' normal lives, and being here in person feels like stepping right into that brief moment of calm. A perfect, serene end to the journey.

This is where Yokohama goes to exhale. After melting under the city sun, we wandered in and immediately questioned why we hadn’t started our day here, sprawled on the grass like content lizards. The park stretches out in all directions: part skyline backdrop, part ocean view, part “I should’ve packed a picnic” regret. There’s space for everyone: kids chasing invisible butterflies, couples posing for very intentional “candid” photos, and us, sitting on a bench debating whether standing up again was worth it. The breeze off the bay felt like a personal apology from the weather gods for earlier cruelty. Bonus points for the random giant fruit sculpture...proof that even art can get sunstroke in Japan. If you need to cool down, recharge, or just watch life roll gently by, Rinko Park’s your place. Bring water, curiosity, and maybe a parasol — the sun here doesn’t mess around.

The park is very clean and pleasant, making it a great place to spend time with family, friends, or your loved one. The view is wonderful as well ✨

I only had 36 hours in Yokohama and I’m really grateful I had the chance to walk through this park. It was the perfect reprieve from walking through business building lined streets and it was nice catching locals enjoying what I’m guessing a similar relief. I particularly enjoyed stumbled upon The Fruit Tree amongst other sculptures and pieces along the path.
