A year-round destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of global plant life!
Beautiful gardens, wasn’t nearly as busy as we expected. We were able to wander around at our own pace and enjoy every bit. Delicious curry and ice cream at the little restaurant after. Staff were wonderful with us Canadians!!
One of the most beautiful botanical gardens I’ve ever visited. So many tropical flowers and plants, the collection of orchids was mindblowing, as well as the water plants. The building is impressive, and it’s one of the shooting spots for Alice in Borderland which made the visit all the more interesting for us. Would definitely recommend visiting for anyone staying in Osaka who loves flowers and plants. 🌿🌴
Well maintained interior garden spaces, in need of a little TLC in the exterior grounds. Nice collection of tropicals, particularly the orchids, cacti & water lily collections--all of which are well curated and expertly grown. Expansive grounds, be prepared to walk; interior spaces never felt too crowded or rushed. Plenty of green space outdoors for walking 4-legged (or 2-legged) companions. An easy walk from Yokozutsumi Station.
Amazing! They had an awesome carnivorous plant exhibit and it's definitely worth a visit if you're into tropical plants! Also in summer sneak off to the boreal forest area or the polar flora rooms to cool off!
