Thank you for your kindness Yoshida. Also, thank you for your help Yagami. Yesterday I had a problem getting my ticket. The people working here were very kind, professional, and patient. I am grateful. 🙇♀️

Miyako Station is a gateway to Sanriku tourism, served by the JR Yamada Line and the Sanriku Railway Rias Line, and is also known as the location of the Sanriku Railway's headquarters. The station building is bright and clean, and with a waiting room, tourist information center, and souvenir shop "Santetsuya" on-site, waiting for a train is a comfortable experience.
Driving in, I encountered many one-way streets with time restrictions in front of the station, causing considerable inconvenience to taxi and bus drivers who kept signaling me to go the wrong way.
Within walking distance of the station are seafood restaurants, shopping streets, and the city hall, making sightseeing and dining options easy. While not flashy, the station has a warm atmosphere and a distinct Sanriku charm. It's a memorable station that I would definitely recommend visiting on a train journey towards Kuji or Kamaishi.
I got off the Sanriku Railway train because there was a long stop.
This station is one of the centers of the Sanriku region, as it is where the Sanriku Railway and the JR Yamada Line diverge.
Next to the station, Sanriku Railway merchandise is sold, and the selection is quite extensive.
However, there are few trains, so be careful not to miss your train.
