This place is truly beautiful. You get a view of the waterfall with Mount Fuji in the background. You can reconnect with nature and realize how wonderful and perfect God is. On sunny days, you can see a beautiful rainbow that forms over the waterfall. If you visit Mount Fuji, it’s definitely worth stopping by this place—I highly recommend it. There are also shops where you can buy souvenirs and gifts.
Excellent place. One of the best waterfalls I ever saw. Visited in 13/12/2024. It has some red autumn leaves above the waterfall, but fresh greenery on the land. It felt like the perfect time.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in Japan. It’s most stunning in autumn with the red and yellow leaves and if you’re lucky, there are little rainbows around the falls.
There are some stalls where you can buy fresh produce from neighboring farms, and a restaurant where you can eat yakisoba and the regional food, miso oden.
We went there on weekdays so there weren’t a lot of tourists.
Beautiful falls with many vantage points. If you drive, consider the non-official parking spots 😁. The designated parking lot off the main road is ¥500 per entry. But if you turn ledt off the main road (from Fuji City) and drive past the souvenir shops towards the falls, it takes you closer and cheaper at ¥300. Off the main road and opposite the designated parking lot, it's usually ¥200 and sometimes as low as ¥50. But further away, of course. Just look out for energetic locals holding signs and flagging your car!
