What other travelers are saying about Solso Park, Tokyo
Amazing park and flowershop with widest selection of flowers, herbs and other various plants. Cafe with excellent coffee and delicious scones. All that in the heart of Tokyo, hidden away from busy streets. Will definitely come again!
You come here mainly because you are in “Share green” but you find yourself thinking of buying some plants for your balcony or your apartment discovering these cute plants, fruit trees or cactus in their cute and sometime colourful pots. Be sure you are going home right after because plants don’t like to much travel...
Cute plant shop in a very quaint area! The selection of indoor and outdoor plants was great and prices were fair. The staff were also very helpful when they found out I spoke very little Japanese! Will definitely come back here in the future
I was able to find many unique blooms here and the flowers come in bigger sizes at their shop. Highly recommend for a half day visit as there are many activities available on the premise
SOLSO PARK is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Current operating hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Note that operating hours may vary, so it's advisable to check their official website or social media channels before visiting to confirm current timing.
Entry to SOLSO PARK is completely free. There is no admission fee to explore the plant nursery and park area. Visitors only pay for plants, pots, gardening supplies, or other goods they wish to purchase. This makes it an accessible destination for anyone interested in browsing the extensive plant collection or simply enjoying the green environment.
While SOLSO PARK does not explicitly advertise a pet policy in available information, many outdoor retail spaces and plant nurseries in Tokyo typically allow leashed dogs. However, it's recommended to contact the facility directly at +81 3-6812-9770 before visiting with your pet to confirm their current policy regarding dogs on the premises.
Plants are sourced from SOLSO's own farms in Awaji, Okinawa, and Hachijojima, offering species uncommon in typical Tokyo garden centers. The facility houses approximately 230 species of plants, ranging from small succulents and cacti at the entrance to large trees, tropical elkhorn ferns, and giant cacti deeper inside. The outdoor areas feature herbs, olive and lemon trees, alongside exotic tropical specimens. The selection changes seasonally, providing variety throughout the year.
Yes, paid parking is available on-site at SOLSO PARK. As an added benefit, visitors who make purchases totaling ¥3,000 or more receive one hour of free parking. This makes it convenient for those driving to the facility, particularly when purchasing larger plants or multiple items that would be difficult to transport via public transportation.
