The main attraction is a 500-meter-long wisteria trellis that creates spectacular walking tunnels with flowers cascading up to 1 meter in length. We had an amazing time at the Wisteria Park yesterday, especially arriving just before sunset. Seeing the flowers transition from the soft evening glow to being beautifully illuminated at night was absolutely magical. The sweet, heavy scent of the blossoms filled the air as we walked under the massive tunnels of purple and white. Both views were stunning in their own way.
One of the best Wisteria Park in Japan. The wisteria domes and tunnels are well maintained. There is a wide variety of fuji grown. The sweet smell of the flowers adds a lot to the experience. Totally immersive. Highly recommended.
Awesome place! Lots of different types of Wisteria, though it is still early. They will have a festival on the 22nd of April and possibly for longer. I took the taxi and it’s about 2000yen each way, just ask the taxi driver to stay around for maybe 30-40 min or if it’s busy I’m sure there’ll be more taxis in the garden area.
The bus also goes towards there but it’s only every once in a while. The ticket to get in is 300yen but if you have more people in your party you get more and more of a discount.
Wake Town Wisteria Park is an absolute gem, especially during the Fuji Matsuri. The Japanese wisteria here is breathtaking, with tunnels and domes that create a magical, immersive experience. The variety of wisteria is impressive, and the sweet scent of the flowers fills the air, making it a sensory delight. The park can get congested, especially during Golden Week, but it's worth the crowds. The nighttime light-up events are particularly stunning, transforming the park into a dreamy, ethereal景色
The night view is totally different and magnificent. Entrance fee is ¥300 per person but this experience is a lot more valuable than that. Parking is totally free and there is a lot of space for parking. You can spend the time freely and there are no time restrictions.
