What other travelers are saying about WARP Shinjuku
I was in Tokyo for a couple of days and decided to check out the night life here. I settled on this place, and had fun!
I paid the entrance fee and it came with a free drink voucher, I think it was for females only, I don't remember . I don't know if it was a promotion or a common thing so I just thought I'd mention it
I'm a foreigner and they spoke adequate enough English to understand me, for me experience
I went here during a weekday. It was almost entirely empty with about 10-15 ish people on the dance floor. I didn't mind because I was there for the music. I got a Moscow mule at the bar, it was good: drink prices are okay. The artist I saw there was Claw, who I believe is a residential DJ there? He was good, I loved his set :)
For anyone that has tattoos, it was okay for me to enter. I was wearing a sleeveless shirt, with tatted arms showing, and was able to enter. I was a little wary because the website does have restrictions against it, but it didn't affect me.
It was my first time at Warp Shinjuku, and the experience was amazing! We decided to go on a Thursday thinking it would be less crowded, but the place was still full of energy and so much fun. The vibe was incredible, and we truly enjoyed every moment.
A special thanks to the staff Ms. Jay, who was super kind and very accommodating. She really made my first club experience in Japan extra memorable with her warm hospitality.
And of course, being in Japan, everything was so clean—even the restrooms! The ladies’ restroom was impressive, with spaces for retouching and even a hair straightener available. Such a thoughtful detail that made the night even better.
I highly recommend Warp Shinjuku to anyone looking for a fun, unforgettable, and comfortable night out!
Visited on a Tuesday and went up to the lvl 2 Force, for the hardstyle music. The bartender had a bad attitude and even refused to refill an empty cup of ice after I accidentally dropped the first one. The sound system at Force was also poor as compared to the main stage at lvl 1
The only part that saved the night was the DJ, who delivered a solid set, and the small crowd, which was surprisingly friendly and brought some good energy.
Cool spot if you’re in the mood to dance or just vibe for a bit. Three different rooms with totally different music — so you can move around depending on what you’re feeling. The crowd’s easygoing, mix of locals and travelers, good energy all around. Drinks are decent, staff chill. Not too fancy, just a fun place to spend the night in Shinjuku.
omg, what can I say!!! amazing music, atmosphere, welcoming and the lady’s bathroom… dang … I came here solo, not travel solo, just to this club solo….people are so friendly 🥰 loved it… oohh and you get a drink with your entrance 🙏🏽🙌🏽💓🫠
