Yodobashi Akiba is massive, with just about everything you can think of under one roof. But let’s be real, most of us come for the toy section (lol), which is on level 6. There’s a huge selection of toys and figures, but mostly the latest releases; if you’re hunting for old or rare stuff, you won’t find them here. Still, it’s a fun place to browse and easy to spend hours exploring!
Visited Yodobashi Akiba 3-4 times during my Tokyo trip and basically ended up emptying my wallet, the tech selection here is impressive! But the real standout was the camera section staff. They weren’t just sell cameras; they enlightened me on everything about it with incredible patience and expertise. Left feeling knowledgeable and broke. Hahahaha
Larger departmental store that spans multiple floors, selling electronics, home appliances, toys and many more. Recommended to shop here for tourists as there is tax-free available for a minimum of ¥5500 spent. There is also a big gatchapon section too!
