This is the largest Yodobashi store in Japan and you immediately notice the massive building the moment you step out of Akihabara Station. The building itself is brightly lit and impossible to miss. Inside, there are many floors packed with things to explore. From cameras, electronics, and gadgets to gaming zones, toys, stationery, and hobby items etc. My son and husband were completely absorbed and spent hours exploring the different sections. They eventually ended up buying binoculars while I happily browsed through the stationery area and gaming section. The experience itself feels exciting because there is just so much to see and try. The prices are really good too. Even if you are not planning to buy anything, it is a fun place to walk around and explore. Outside the building there are also food stalls and cafes, making it a nice spot to take a break after shopping. Overall, it’s an amazing place and definitely a must visit when you are in Akihabara.

An absolutely massive shop filled with more electronic products you are ever likely to see! Very handy if you’ve got an eye on picking up some of the latest consumer tech. There are loads of very helpful staff, who in my experience spoke enough English to help out my limited Japanese. With their help I managed to test several pairs of noise cancelling headphones with my phone and make a swift and efficient purchase. Even if you’re just window shopping or wanting to bide some time this shop is fantastic.
