Sushi Making Experience in Tokyo

Enjoy a hands-on sushi class in Tokyo, perfect for beginners! With help from a friendly English-speaking instructor, you’ll learn to make popular sushi like Nigiri, Gunkan, and Hosomaki using simple tools. You’ll also learn about sushi ingredients like wasabi and vinegar, and get tips on Japanese table manners. No need to worry if it’s your first time—this class is easy and fun for everyone!

You can choose from three course options:

• Basic Course – Make Nigiri and Gunkan sushi

• Deluxe Course – Learn more skills, use fresh tuna, and make three sushi types

• Super Deluxe Course – A top-level class with high-quality ingredients and full training

Classes are held at the Grand TJT studio near Tokyo Tower. Special diets like vegan or halal can be arranged if you tell us ahead of time. You’ll eat the sushi you make, and take home a sushi-making kit as a gift. Want more? You can also add a sake or tea tasting for an extra treat (extra fee).

• E-voucher will be sent by email; please show it at the meeting point

• The class may be shared with other groups on the same day

• Duration may vary depending on group size and schedule

• Minimum of 2 people required to join the class

• The same fee applies to guests aged 6 and above

• Main instruction is in English; French or Spanish available for an added fee

• Multilingual support starts from April 20 (advance request needed)

• Guests must travel to the venue on their own
