The tour begins at Hiroshima Station near the Shinkansen Exit on the pedestrian deck. After meeting the guide, you will receive a brief overview of the hiking route, safety guidelines, and what to expect during the walk.
The first stop is Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine, known for its detailed architecture and historical significance. Your guide will explain the shrine’s background and its role in the local community while you explore the grounds.
The hike continues through shaded mountain paths toward Kinko Inari Shrine. Along the way, you will pass several small shrines set within the forest, offering a quiet atmosphere and fresh mountain air.

It was in the form of training, but I really enjoyed participating!
The experience in the forest was also wonderful, giving me a different perspective and feeling.
And after climbing hard (it's not that hard♪) the view and the beautiful bento were still great!
It’s such an experience that even after I get home, I suddenly remember having such a luxurious time!

We had the best day with NaomI, and Lisa who joined us later in the tour with Bento boxes prepared by a local restaurant in Hiroshima for our lunch. Naomi shared her passion and wealth of knowledge with us during the tour, we learnt a lot. We finished the tour with traditional tea.
