Tokyo Street Go-Kart Tour: Shibuya Crossing & Tokyo Tower (120 Minutes)

To participate in our tour, you must have the correct driving documentation for Japan. Here's what you need to bring:

1. Required Documents for All Participants:

• A valid driving license from your home country.

• An international driving permit (IDP) issued under the Geneva Convention 1949, obtained from your home country.

• Your passport.

2. Specific Requirements for Certain Countries:

For participants from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia, or Monaco:

• An original driving license.

• An official Japanese translation of the license, which can be obtained through the Japanese Automobile Federation (JAF).

• Your passport.

3. Requirements for US Military Personnel:

• SOFA License or a combination of an active military ID and a state-issued driver's license.

Important Notices About Driving Licenses:

• International driving permits must be issued by the authorized agency in your country, such as AAA in the USA, CAA in Canada, or AA/RAC in the UK.

• IDPs issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are not valid in Japan.

• A physical copy of your IDP is required; digital copies are not accepted.

• The IDP should be in booklet form, not a paper form.

• It's the participant's responsibility to ensure they have the correct and valid documents. Failure to present these will result in being unable to join the tour, without the possibility of a refund. Contact us if you're unsure about your documents.

Additional Information

• Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time for check-in, a safety briefing, and a go-kart demonstration. We can wait up to 10 minutes after your booking time, but this may reduce your driving time.

• Alcohol Policy: Consumption of alcohol before the tour is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to exclude anyone suspected of intoxication without refund.

• Clothing: Avoid wearing long skirts, high heels, or sandals.

• Accessibility: The tour is not wheelchair accessible.

• Safety Restrictions: Infants cannot sit on laps, and there are no infant seats available. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or individuals with heart conditions.
