• A valid international driving permit issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention is mandatory for participation

• Hard copy documentation is required and must be presented on the day of the activity

Eligibility Requirements

• Foreign permits from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia, or Monaco are accepted with an official Japanese translation

• US, Canadian, and Australian passport holders must present an IDP in booklet form (A–E classification) along with their home country license and passport

• Indian passport holders must have an IDP issued by recognized institutions (Automobile Association of Western, Upper, Eastern, or Southern India), booklet format only, with A–E classification, plus their national license and passport

• Citizens of some countries, such as China, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Qatar, are not eligible to drive in Japan. Please confirm whether your country issues an IDP under the 1949 convention before booking

• All travelers must present their original home country license, passport, and valid IDP on the day of the activity.

Booking Restrictions

• International driving permits must comply with 1949 convention standards to be legally valid in Japan

• Digital or photocopied versions of driving permits will not be accepted under any circumstances

• Failure to present proper documentation will result in activity cancellation without refund eligibility
