On our tour, you'll have the chance to visit the oldest and largest sake brewery in the city, where you can witness the time-honored techniques of sake brewing and learn about its rich cultural significance.
Of course, no sake factory tour is complete without indulging in some sake tasting! You'll have the opportunity to savor the exquisite flavors of Takayama's finest sake, each with its own unique character and history.
Please note that, in accordance with Japanese law, only those aged 20 years and above are permitted to consume alcoholic beverages. But don't worry, there are plenty of delicious non-alcoholic drinks available for everyone to enjoy.

1. Is transportation provided to the meeting point?
Unfortunately, transportation is not provided to the meeting point. However, our team will be more than happy to assist you in finding the best transportation options to reach the Happy Plus Desk.
2. Can children join the tour?
Children are welcome to join the tour as long as they are accompanied by an adult. However, please note that according to Japanese law, persons under the age of 20 are not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages.
3. What should I wear for the tour?
We recommend wearing comfortable and casual clothing and shoes. As you will be visiting a brewery, closed-toe shoes are required for safety reasons.
4. Can I bring a bag or luggage with me during the tour?
You are welcome to bring a bag or small luggage with you during the tour. However, please note that some sake breweries may not allow large bags or luggage inside their facilities.
5. Can I change the tour duration?
Yes, you can change the tour duration to 60 or 90 minutes with an additional fee of 2,000JPY/person and 5,000JPY/person, respectively. Please inform our team in advance if you wish to extend the tour duration.
