Yes, admission to the Tokyo Tower main deck at 150 meters, where you spend about 40 minutes. Imperial Palace Plaza and Asakusa are outdoor sightseeing stops rather than ticketed sites.

Should I eat before the tour?

No meals are included. During the hour in Asakusa you can pick up snacks or a light meal on Nakamise, a shopping street of about 200 meters leading to Senso-ji.

Which sights are only seen from the bus?

The National Diet Building, Kabukiza Theater and the Ginza shopping district are passed on the road, with commentary from your guide but no stop.

Can I bring a suitcase or stroller?

Yes. Large luggage and strollers go in the bus trunk. Let the crew know when you board, and keep your valuables with you.

Spend your morning seeing central Tokyo from a Hato Bus hybrid coach with an English-speaking guide. Walk to Nijubashi Bridge at the Imperial Palace, ride up to the Tokyo Tower main deck, and browse the stalls of Nakamise on your way to Senso-ji.

What's not included

Food and drinks

This is an English-guided tour, so there is no Japanese commentary.
Shinjuku passengers board first, and the bus then collects guests at Tokyo Station.
Everything wraps up at Tokyo Station; the bus does not go back to Shinjuku.
The child ticket covers ages 6 to 11.
Under-6s can come along, but they get no seat or meal of their own.
Return times can run late when Tokyo traffic is heavy.
Hato Bus normally runs a hybrid bus here but may switch vehicles when needed.

Best if pressed for time

Absolutely brilliant, I loved it!! Azumi was such a great guide: both informative and also helpful and very kind. It was perfect for me because I had very limited time and Tokyo Tower was the landmark I wanted to see the most fervently!! I took lots of photos from the observation deck and bought wonderful souvenirs (in Asakusa too). Many thanks, Hato Bus!
