这座静谧的寺庙建筑群拥有美丽的古老主殿、池塘和长满青苔的石桥，距离高山市中心仅几步之遥。此外，还有供奉着法华寺五位守护神的万神殿，它坐落在波光粼粼的庭院池塘和石拱桥旁，营造出一种略带神秘的氛围。高大的钟楼、古老的木质回廊，以及几乎不多的游客，使这里成为远离喧嚣的旅游街道，悠闲漫步、感受古老寺庙生活的绝佳去处。
我于2025年10月中旬造访了这里。 我在寺庙后山上，祭拜了加藤光正和大原彦四郎妻子的坟墓。 那里贴着警示牌，警告近期有熊出没，所以我保持警惕，一边吟诵《南无妙法莲华经》，一边欣赏依然郁郁葱葱的枫树。
我参拜了供奉加藤清正孙子光正的寺庙。我对这座当地家族寺庙产生了一种亲切感，而且在秋季红叶盛开的季节，我还能从寺庙门口眺望高山市的景色。
卍构成东山寺群的一隅卍 十余座寺庙和神社沿着市中心东侧一座小山脚排列。 其中，法华寺是一座静谧祥和的日莲宗寺庙，隐匿于东山中心地带。 寺内有正殿、由廊道相连的万神堂，以及门前的小池塘。此外，寺内还有一座当地居民每日参拜的小神社。 从寺门望去，一条通往市中心的道路也构成了一幅美丽的景象。
