1-Day Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route Snow Wall Tour from Nagano (Spring Only)

Your day starts with a morning meet-up in Nagano City. The first pick-up takes place at Hotel Kokusai 21, followed by Nagano Station shortly after. If joining at the station, please wait inside near the main information board. Once everyone has arrived, your guide will assist you onto the vehicle and the journey toward the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route begins.

Reach Ogizawa Station, the starting point of the Alpine Route. Here, you will have a short break to prepare before heading into the mountains. Your guide will help organize tickets and explain the next steps for the ascent.

Begin your journey up the mountain using a combination of unique transport systems. Travel by trolley bus through tunnels, ride cable cars up steep slopes, and enjoy the famous ropeway that offers wide views of the valley below. Each stage brings you higher into the alpine environment.

Arrive at Murodo, the highest point along the route. This area is known for its deep snow and the impressive Snow Walls. Your guide will give a short introduction before allowing free time to explore. Walk along the snow corridor, take photos, or simply enjoy the quiet mountain scenery.

After your exploration, meet your guide and begin the journey back down. You will use the same transport system, giving you another chance to enjoy the alpine views from a different perspective as you descend toward Ogizawa.

Arrive back at Ogizawa, where your vehicle will be waiting. From here, relax on the drive back to Nagano City. The tour finishes with a drop-off at Hotel Kokusai 21 followed by Nagano Station.
