We took a taxi to and from Hakone. Took 20 mins to get an Uber FROM Hakone and the first driver refused to take us that far. On the ride back, only took 4 mins to get a driver.
A very special ride experience with the majesty of Mt Fuji as the backdrop.
Visiting the Leaf Village
We came from Kawaguchiko by train, but if you want, you can also walk the distance in about an hour. We found very little line to enter the park (perhaps because we came in the afternoon), and in less than five minutes, we found ourselves in front of the gates of the Leaf Village. A unique emotion! The reconstruction of the village is done excellently, down to the smallest details. We tried the 3D shooting game and the photo studio. Even though we are two grown adults, we had a blast and practically emptied the souvenir shop.
